Palermo artist, Ida Saitta studies with masters from the school of Renato Guttuso and the school of the French engraver Jean-Pierre Velly. In 2001 she received the Pirandello “Liol à ” Prize at the Spasimo of Palermo, from Aurelio Pes. Also in 2001, the meeting took place with Lea Mattarella, art critic of the Press of Turin, who will curate several personal exhibitions. In 2002-2006, the meeting with Luca Bosurgi, which will be followed by the collaboration with the magazine Fmagazine (London), positive feedback derives from Japan and China, as well as from “ The Guardian ”. In 2005 she was the Foundress of the art treaty, formulating its guiding principles, on “ Linear Magnetism ”.

In 2006 he became part of the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Gibellina (Trapani). In 2014 he created a mural on the facade of the Town Hall of San Biagio Platani (Agrigento). In 2017 he became part of the valuable collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art inside the Museum of the Terzo Pilastro Foundation - International and again in 2017 it becomes part of the collection of Palazzo Sciarra in Rome. Since 2016 it has started the collaboration with the well-known art critic and curator Giuseppe Ussani d ’Escobar. In February 2018, on the occasion of the round table organized by Enea, the national agency for energy efficiency, coinciding with the year of “Palermo Capital of Culture ”, he presented at the Galleria d ’Arte Moderna of Palermo (GAM), with the full involvement of public institutions, the artistic-philosophical thought on “Linear Magnetism ”, the current she created. Since 1994 more than seventy of his solo and group exhibitions have been held in Italy and abroad. Ida Saitta has exhibited in places of the highest prestige including: Palazzo Altieri Penguin Caf è, Rome; Villa Piccolomini, Rome; Palazzo Grazioli, Rome; Villa Niscemi, Palermo; Hotel of the Poor, Palermo; Villa Palomes, Palermo and in the Sala Michelangelo of the General Consulate of Italy, Nice. The artist has also exhibited in China, “Expo Shanghai ” 2010 at Yahong Gallery; in 2011 in Russia with the Galleria la Pigna in Palazzo del Vicariato Maffei Marescotti in Rome and in the United States in New York at “The Buzzeo Building Gallery ” in October 2011. The artist's works are present in private collections and public, including: Banca Finnat, Rome; AdnKronos, Rome; Banco di Sicilia, Palermo; Con Temporanea Art Museum, Gibellina (Trapani); Mural facade of the Town Hall, San Biagio Platani (Agrigento); Museum of Contemporary Art - Museum of the Rome-Terzo Pilastro Foundation, Rome; Palazzo Sciarra, Rome. Most of the artist ’s exhibitions were strongly desired and sponsored by the Presidency of the Sicilian Region. In 2019 the artistic redefinition of the entrance and the connective spaces of the P.O. ‘G.Di Cristina ’ - Children's Hospital by Giuseppe Ussani d ’Escobar, created with the support of the Third Pillar Foundation - International chaired by Prof. Avv. Emmanuele F. M. Emanuele.
